To celebrate Senate House Library's Staging Magic exhibition, the next Book Club hosted by the Friends of Senate House Library will explore the themes of Jean Lorrain’s The Magic Lantern.
Welcoming the editor of the Oxford
World’s Classics Late Victorian Gothic Tales, Professor Roger Luckhurst, to lead the discussion, this Book Club will consider the place of magic and the supernatural in a scientific world.
